today is the International Day Against Homophobia. On Mai 17th 1990 the world health organisation officially removed homosexuality from its list of diseases. In 77 countries worldwide homosexuality still is outlawed. Only 62 states include sexual orientation into there anti-discrimination laws. Unfortunately there is still much irrational hate against LGTB people.
Altogether there is far to much hate in our time. Regardless whether it is based on discontent or ignorance or when it is intentionally guided: hate is always destructive. And we as a society are required to stand against it with all necessary prudence.
